How To Install Budget TV on Your Firestick / Android Device

REMOVE OLD APPS

1. Go to Settings
2. Select Applications
3. Select Manage Installed Applications
4. Delete any old apps such as Tivimate,
   Zeus
   Thorium
   Unlimited
   Any previous IPTV apps
5. Restart your Firestick
6. Go to settings
7. Select my fire tv
8. Select about
9. Click on fire tv seven times real fast until it says you are now a developer.
10. Click the home button on remote and go to the next step.

INSTALL THE DOWNLOADER APP

1. From the Firestick Home screen, select Search
2. Type Downloader
3. Download and open the app
   Orange icon with a white arrow
4. When prompted, click Allow

Once Downloader is installed and open, continue to Step 3.

ENTER DOWNLOADER CODE AND ENABLE SETTINGS

1. Inside Downloader, click the URL box
2. Enter 862294 and click Go
3. If a message appears that says Settings or Cancel, choose Settings

This will take you directly to Developer Options.

1. Turn OFF ADB Debugging
2. Click on Install Unknown Apps
3. Select Downloader
4. If it says OFF, click it to turn it ON

Press the back arrow on your remote 2 times to return to the downloader app.

1. Click Install
2. Screen should change to white screen with Budget Tv in upper left corner
3. On the right, select Install
4. Allow the app to download and then select DONE!! (DO NOT HIT OPEN.)
5. After you hit done it will give you another screen saying install or delete. Go ahead and delete the file.
6. Hit the home button on remote and go to the next step

Once completed, continue to Step 4.

VERIFY FIRESTICK SETTINGS

1. Go to Home
2. Select Settings
3. Select My Fire TV
4. Select Developer Options

Confirm the following
ADB Debugging is Off
Install Unknown Apps shows Budget Tv as ON

Note
Older devices may say Apps from Unknown Sources. Leave it ON.

Go to the next step

OPEN Budget Tv APP

1. After you return to the home screen scroll to the far right and click on the logo next to the settings, the 3 boxes and the plus sign (Your Apps)
2. Scroll to the bottom and look for the Budget Tv app and open it.
3. Choose Add Playlist
4. Select Budget TV

LOGIN

1. Enter your Username
2. Enter your Password 
3. Move right and click Next
4. Wait for processing on the left
5. When channels begin loading, move right and click Done
6. Wait for the Please Wait message while the app finishes loading
7. After blank guide pops up go to the far left and go to step 7

GENERAL SETTINGS

1. Go to Settings located at the bottom left
2. Confirm Exit by Back Press

UPDATE PLAYLIST AND EPG

1. In Settings, go to Playlists
2. Click on Budget Tv
3. Scroll down to update interval hours and change to 2
4. Turn on update on app start
5. Select Update Playlists
6. Wait for the success message
7. exit by back press 2 times.

Now go to EPG Settings

Set the following

           1, Change past Days to keep EPG to 1

           2. Turn off store program descriptions

           3. Change update interval hours to 2  

           4. Turn ON Update on App Start

           5, Turn on Update on Playlist change

           6. Update EPG (Never clear EPG)

           7. Back press and go to the next step.

ADJUST REMAINING SETTINGS

Appearance
TV Guide
Channel Sorting set to By Name
Turn ON Two Line Channel Names
Turn ON Two Line Program Titles, keep the rest as is

Press Back on your remote.

Player
Channel List
Turn ON Highlight Current Program in color keep the rest as is

Click back on remote and turn clock on

Info Panel

Turn ON show clock
Turn ON show date on clock

Leave the rest the same

Display
Turn ON Clock
Set Font Size to Medium

Groups

Turn off show all playlist category

Turn on Favorites category

Turn off all channel category, then hit the back button on the remote twice.

Playback

Turn Buffer size to medium 
Scroll down and select Auto Frame Rate
Turn ON Enable for TV
Turn ON VOD
Turn ON Switch Screen Refresh Rate

Turn ON Audio Passthrough, then hit the back button on the remote.

Other
Go to Search and turn ON
Search History
Show Favorite Channels First, then hit the back button on the remote.

Reminders
Select Reminders
Choose Remind Before Program Start
Set to 2 minutes

START WATCHING

1. Press Return until you are back at Settings
2. Scroll UP
3. Select TV
4. Browse genres and enjoy Budget Tv live and on demand
5. To watch VOD movies and shows just go to the far left and select Movies or Shows and enjoy!!
6. To return to live tv go back and select Tv to the far left.

OPEN Budget Tv APP

1. After you return to the home screen and go to your apps and find the Budget Tv app.
2. Open Budget Tv
3. When window pops up asking you to let Tivimate to display over other apps hit settings.
4. Go to Budget Tv and turn on
5. Hit back arrow 1 time
6. Choose Add Playlist
7. Select Budget TV
8. Go to step 5

LOGIN

1. Enter your Username
2. Enter your Password 
3. Move right and click Next
4. Wait for processing on the left
5. When it says Playlist is Processed hit Done. 
6. You will see Please Wait message while the app finishes loading
7. After blank guide pops up go to the far left and go to step 6
